Nehal Sheth, DPM

Dr. Nehal Sheth brings a progressive and patient-centered approach to foot and ankle care at Chicago Foot Specialists, located in the heart of the Chicago Loop and serving patients across the Chicagoland area. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois and at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine 2017 and went on to complete a rigorous three-year surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and Lovell Federal Health Care Center. His training included work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and with military veterans and their families.
Board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Sheth specializes in surgical and non-surgical foot and ankle care, with expertise in sports medicine, trauma, diabetic wound care, pediatrics, and limb salvage. He is affiliated with Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital, provides house calls, and works with nursing home patients. Dr. Sheth is fluent in three languages, English, Gujarati, and Hindi, and he designs wellness-driven treatment plans that emphasize fitness, nutrition, and holistic care.
Outside of work, Dr. Sheth enjoys running along Lake Michigan, training for his next marathon or ultramarathon, cycling, attending local games, and spending time with his wife, their two daughters, rescued greyhound and golden retriever.
Christine Heck, DPM

Dr. Christine Heck brings over two decades of experience in podiatric medicine and surgery to her patients throughout the Chicagoland area, including Chicago, Melrose Park, and Lombard. Board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Heck is known for her compassionate, whole-person approach to care. Originally from Mandan, North Dakota, she was a collegiate athlete and earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Mary. She went on to complete a Master’s in Health Care Administration and a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Iowa. Her advanced surgical training includes a three-year residency through the North Chicago VA Medical Center, Great Lakes Naval Base, and the Madison Veterans Medical Center.
Dr. Heck specializes in podiatry and foot and ankle surgery and is affiliated with Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. She began her career in Alpena, Michigan before returning to Illinois, where she lives with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and a cat. Outside the office, she enjoys outdoor adventures, gardening, family time, and frequent trips back to North Dakota to reconnect with her roots.
Mark Pinkowski, DPM

Dr. Mark Pinkowski delivers high-quality podiatric care in Downtown Chicago. Known for his approachable nature and empathetic communication style, Dr. Pinkowski believes that trust and connection are essential to successful treatment. A lifelong Chicagoan, he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, then went on to complete his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. His advanced training includes a comprehensive three-year surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago and the Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago.
Board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Pinkowski offers expertise in podiatry and foot and ankle surgery. He is affiliated with Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital and extends his care to patients at home through house call services.
When not treating patients, he enjoys playing basketball, disc golf, and beach volleyball, and spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and fishing. He recently built a chicken coop that is now home to several happy chickens.
